Bulls Eyes and Cross Hairs on Arizona

Guest Writers and Submissions 1 Comment

In the wake of the Arizona shooting some in the liberal and conservative media seem to be throwing gasoline on the flames. You hear Democrats and Republicans blaming each other for the terrible acts of an out of control individuals that had views that were unacceptable to most people in either party.

You hear people blaming the Republicans and Sarah Palin for her Cross Hair Map.

During the 2010 elections, on her Facebook Account Sarah Palin had posted a Cross-hair map of states and candidates to beat in the elections. And the Democrats have been using Bulls-eye maps to target states and candidates to beat in the elections.

You hear people blaming the Democrats  for their Bulls Eye Maps.

The above map targeting Republicans was on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) website.

This Bulls Eye Map appeared on the Democratic Leadership Committee website (dated 2004 during the Bush years).

You hear people blaming President Obama for his Speech such as those listed by Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit in his short list of Obama’s “greatest hits”
** Obama: “They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”
** Obama to His Followers: “Get in Their Faces!”
** Obama on ACORN Mobs: “I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!”
** Obama to His Mercenary Army: “Hit Back Twice As Hard”
** Obama on the private sector: “We talk to these folks… so I know whose ass to kick.“
** Obama to voters: Republican victory would mean “hand to hand combat”
** Obama to lib supporters: “It’s time to Fight for it.”
** Obama to Latino supporters: “Punish your enemies.”
** Obama to democrats: “I’m itching for a fight.”

As conservative or liberal kids there is only one map that we should honor and that map is the map of the United States. We cannot fall victim to the hatred being delivered by any politician, newscaster, columnist or blogger. As kids we must be able to recognize that there will always be hatred in one form or another. As kids we must be aware of what is going on around us but we must also understand that this tragic shooting in Arizona was not the fault of Sarah Palin, Barack Obama, the Democrats, Republicans, Conservatives or Liberals. This shooting was a violent act committed by one lunatic shooter a 22 year old whose name I will not even mention for he has already gotten too much press.

May God Bless America and tone down the Rhetoric.

Is The First Amendment an Excuse to be Rude?

Seth Leave a Comment

Why is it that people just love using the First Amendment freedom of speech as an excuse to be rude? The “I have freedom of speech or the right of giving my expression” for an excuse to be rude is getting very annoying because people are constantly using it.

For an example when conservative Candidate for Congress Art Robinson came to Lowell, Oregon. There was this very obvious liberal who kept yelling out at the candidate, “Let him talk,” as Robinson was explaining something to another person. Another obvious liberal kept interrupting Robinson instead of allowing the candidate to finish his explanation.

First Amendment freedom of speech excuse is getting on my nerves as it continues to be mis-used as an excuse to be rude. It seems like a lot of Democrats and Republicans are too often saying “I have the right to talk or show my expression.” A person may think they have a right but when a speech such as the candidate was giving is on private property they don’t always have that right.

This First Amendment freedom of speech excuse is one of the very things that will drive me to start making comments back to people. These people think they can use the excuse but when you do in return they get mad.  It seems like these people get mad even though you or I don’t always use the excuse. When it makes us mad we too eventually start to always use “I have the right to talk”  or ” I have the right to show my expression!”

You Should NEVER Vote In An Election

Guest Writers and Submissions Leave a Comment

Did you vote in the last local, state or federal election? If you did should you be voting in this election? Politics is confusing and can really get on ones nerves especially in the days leading up to Election Day. You receive phone call after phone call promoting candidates, you are bombarded with television and radio commercials. The newspaper are offering their views of the candidates and trying to tell you how to vote.

Do you like all of the dirty politics that is going on? Do you believe the ads that tell you how great one politician is while taking snippets out of a comment made by the opponent to show how bad they are? Before I convince you of the reasons you should never vote in an election let’s give you a few reasons why you should vote every chance you get.

You Agree With the Candidate
If the candidates’ views and opinions closely parallel yours this is usually a person that you will want to support. It really is not enough to just vote for the candidate because they are likeable. If you think likeable is enough to get your vote you might want to take a look at some of the people that we now have running the country.

You Disagree With the Candidate
You may want to vote against a particular candidate, instead of voting for your  preferred candidate. This type of voter often feels that the candidate’s views and opinions should never, ever be allowed to influence local or federal politics. Emotions run intensely during elections, and some voters prefer to try to keep a certain candidate out of office, rather than using their single vote for the candidate they like.

Vote to Cancel Another Person’s Vote
This scenario in sometimes seen with couples that have diametrically opposing political views. The goal of such couples is solely to cancel out the vote of their spouse! Sometimes that means voting for someone other than their preferred candidate, but as long as their vote cancels their spouse’s vote, they are satisfied. The emotional factors come into play once again.

Vote to Take Votes Away From a Candidate
In a variation of “you disagree with the candidate,” While this can be a trap and result in the candidate that you would like to see winning end up losing, some people will vote for a relatively “harmless” candidate who has no chance of winning, rather than give their vote to the frontrunner. These fringe candidates try to win the votes of undecided, disenfranchised, or angry voters in an attempt to act as a “spoiler” for the more popular candidates. Sometimes these “take-away” votes are enough to swing the election in a particular direction, and sometimes they are not.

You Want to See Change
Wanting to see change is a strong reason to vote. Where you must be careful is that you are not voting for the wrong change. As an example, if you want less government and less debt that alone may be a good reason to vote Republican. If you want the government to control everything you do from birth until death that would be a good reason to vote Democrat.

The ONLY Reason You Should Never Vote In An Election

If you are old enough to vote there really is only one reason why you should never, ever vote in a political election. The only acceptable reason for not voting is if you are DEAD. In some locals even deceased persons have fraudulently voted, but that’s a discussion for another article.

If you live in the USA, it is your civic and patriotic duty to exercise the right to vote. Your ancestors and maybe even family members fought and died to earn this right for you, and you owe it to them to vote in every election. Some of them may be fighting right now and you need to honor them and protect their right to vote too. Do not disrespect our fighting men and women by telling them that their sacrifice is not good enough for you?

If you allow Election Day to roll around without voting or fail to mail in your absentee ballot on time don’t complain about the election outcome. You had a chance to change the results, but you passed. Remember that each and every election and each time a candidate comes up for re-election.

A Letter to Poor Kids That Do Not Want to Be Poor

Seth 1 Comment

My name is Seth and Kids Speak for America is my website. I am 11 years old. You may be older or younger then me. You may be poor or think you are poor because you do not have what some of the other kids have. I have lived with my mom who is poor and know what that is like. I have lived in a tent in the park because my mom did not have a house. I have lived in an old camper shell with no water, electricity, radio or television. For a long time the nicest place I lived was a barn. So if you think I don’t know what being poor is you are wrong, wrong, wrong,

For the last few years I have lived in a nice house with my grandpa and dad. We are not rich now and we are not poor now.  Where I live a lot of people do not have jobs. Some people do not want to work because the government is taking care of them. Some of my friends parents make more money on unemployment then they do working and can play around or do side jobs so they don’t want to get a new job. Some people like my dad and grandpa work because they do not want the government taking care of us like animals.

You might think that it is cool to be taken care of by the government but it isn’t. If you think that Obama and the liberals are going to make things real nice for you without working you are full of crap. If you want to be an animal that is told what to do by the government that is all you will ever be unless you get some brains.

I am a conservative like my grandpa and dad. Sometimes it is scary being a conservative because most people where we live are liberals and think we have to be crazy working so hard. I was even a little bit scared when I put signs up for Art Robinson because he is a conservative trying to win against a liberal Peter Defazio.

Most people where I live think the only way to make money is to do something illegal or win the lottery. My grandpa and dad have taught be that you will be happier if you work for what you have. My grandpa taught me that liberals teach dependency and conservatives teach prosperity. I want prosperity and if you are poor you should too.

So kids if you’re parents think that the democrats are going to take care of them let them know that you don’t want to live that way. Try to get them to understand that conservatives will help them get it better instead of taking care of them like a bunch of chickens. And if your mom or dad is still that stupid where they want democrats to tell them what to do I hope they won’t vote.

And if you think that democrats and liberals are good because they take from the rich and give to the poor you are just as dumb and if you want to be smart you will learn that they take care of you just enough to get your vote. The money that they take from the rich goes to pad the pensions of government workers, union workers and politicians. That is where the money goes so get smart and learn how to take care of your self and make some money and keep your money for Obama and the congress have already stuck you with bills that you need to pay back when you grow up.
