Noah really does speak for America at his website called Noah’s Dream Catcher Network. I really like Noah’s website because it is not about him. This is a website where Noah takes up a cause to help other people which is something all of us should do. I heard about Noah when I saw him on television and he had raised $10,000 to save his grandmas house from foreclosure which means she could have lost her house because she could not make the payment. Noah has a really good grandma and she has taken in a lot of foster kids that had no other place to go. The family of two of my friends lost their house and I know how hard it was for them so Noah should be real proud of what he did.

Noah also raised about $2,000 to send a little girl and her mother to Disney World. The girls mother died from cancer before they got to go but the girl went with her father.

Noah says on his website that he challenges each kid who comes to my site to volunteer. If you don’t have money to give then give of your time. It makes you feel good to help someone. Kids put away your video games for one day a month and help someone. You will be glad you did and it will make you feel good.

Visit Noah’s Dream Catcher Network and learn how kids can help people.

Millions of kids are watching as Space Shuttle Atlantis makes a picture perfect final landing at the Kennedy Space Center on the morning of July 21, 2011, sonic booms are heard and mission control gives us memorable final words as the voice of mission control says.

“Piercing the predawn skies the Space Shuttle announces its arrival at the launch site with its signature twin sonic booms having gone sub sonic for the last time.”

“With a fitting elegance for its final moments of flight/Atlantis takes one last lap around the Kennedy Space Center.”

“Having fired the imagination of a generation, a ship like no other is placed in history secured. The space shuttle pulls into port for the last time its voyage at an end.”

With the end of this era us kids can hardly wait for a new era in space exploration.

Kids around the world were witness to the final launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis as it headed 200 miles into space to launch with the International Space Station on July 8, 2011 at 11:29 a.m. EDT. As Space Shuttle Atlantis prepared for launch, many of us boys and girls were glued to the television so that we could witness this launch.

July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 was the space flight that first landed humans on the moon and an era of continued space exploration was born. At the time of the moon landing many of our parents and certainly us kids not yet born. The moon landing is only history that has been relayed to us. The space program that continued after the moon launch was something we have been able to witness first hand. Will the final launch mean an end to America’s space program?

During this past spring vacation my family visited the Kennedy Space Center. Just being there made me feel more connected when I listened to Atlantis Commander Chris Ferguson as he prepared for the final launch of Space Shuttle Atlantis along with pilot Doug Hurley, mission specialist Sandra Magnus and mission specialist Rex Walheim.

Just prior to the launch of Atlantis Commander Chris Ferguson said, “The shuttle’s always going to be a reflection of what a great nation can do when it commits to be bold and follow through,” “We’re completing a chapter of a journey that will never end. Let’s light this fire one more time, and witness this great nation at its best.”

America’s space program has not ended. The launch of Atlantis has ended one journey in our space program. I can hardly wait to see what the next chapter of our journey will bring and how us kids of today will get to experience it first hand.

The 4th of July occurs in every country in the world. Only in the United States of America the 4th of July is also “Independence Day”. July 4th is the anniversary of the day in 1776 that we declared our independence from Great Britain. As us kids celebrate with our family and friends we need to remember and give thanks to those that have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice so that when we someday have children of our own, they too will be able to celebrate as free people of the United States of America.

A big OoRah to those that have given and continue to give so that we may live free.

Flag Day is celebrated on June 14th in the United States. Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States by resolution of the Second Continental Congress in 1777. This video is inspirational and shows the importance of our American Flag. The video gives kids, young people and adults a better understanding of what our flag is and is not. A must watch video for all that would like to know more about the American flag and the United States of America.
