Kids Speak for America came about when my friends and I were talking about all of the stupid things that seem to go on in government and with politics. We thought there should be a place for kid talk such as political talk, money talk, and government talk.
We might be kids but we see adults doing stupid things. Kids have ideas too and if adults would listen to us they might like some of them.
We think that Kids can take their ideas to the news and work to make changes.
With Kids Speak for America we can talk about what goes on in the USA. Taxes rise, gun rights, money talk, government talk, national, state and local government. At Kids Speak for America we can talk about most anything from government a natural disaster or whatever is on our minds. If we want to talk about sports, video games, music or our favorite movie or television program or lots of other things we can do that too.
Most of us kids spend a lot of time on the computer and we wanted to post our ideas and have other kids post their ideas and leave comments.
My dad and grandpa said that it is okay to have a blog but that they will have to keep an eye on it to make sure there is no bad stuff. I don’t like that idea but grandpa explained that when you have a blog that kids under the age of 13 and even adults are posting on you have to be real careful.
So Who am I?
My name is Seth and I am in 8th grade this year. I am an ordinary kid that loves sports especially baseball and track. My dad says I spend too much time playing video games and watching YouTube. I also like reading, history and social studies. Some of my favorite television channels are The History Channel, Military Channel, G4 and Fox News. I like making money but hate math. I am a conservative and I want to be a Marine. In November of 2012 I became a member of the Young Marines and wish I had known about them sooner.
